Default Gunmetal wheels?

What do you guys think about gunmetal (greyish) colored rims on a 92 es........dark green with the grey trim? I'm not sure how it would look. I was thinking it might look good because of the grey trim on the bottom of the car. Does anyone have a picture of a first gen es with gunmetal rims or blackish rims? Opinions are very welcome........I'm going to be purchasing rims for my 92 before summer so I want to know what is the best color/style in everyones opinion. Thanks.

I'm doing the exact same thing for my 95 pearl white es. I remember Amrit doing a writeup for his 96.

Check this out:

I found the thread but depending on the time of day, I'm not sure if the pics will show right now.

I think it will be fine. It will be hard to match the wheels with the gray at the bottom of the car. But it's a good idea.

None of the pics in that thread work...

But anyway, I say go for the gunmetal... I myself plan on making my wheels black/gunmetal with a polished lip sometime in the future. As for choice of wheels, I would go for some Volks, I really like the GT-N's... also, you can't go wrong with Racing Harts.

yes definitely go with gunmetal. I'm actually doing the same thing too but Im going to have a pair of adr sterlings too....in chrome! But being in Massaxhusetts suxs and I'm limited to certain seasons..But Deep dish rims look really nice and classy! If you guys ever watch and jdm movies they have VIP style..big chrom 'bling bling" rims is a must!
good luck with your es...let me know how it turns out I'd love to see the pics

I still cant figure out what style wheel i want. Something that fits my 92 es perfectly, All i know is that i want the gunmetal with a silver lip (i think on the silver lip) . What do you think looks good on the es? I do like mesh but am having trouble finding the right wheel. I figure it either has to be mesh or wheels with thick spokes to flow with the es.
