Wife in her IS350 breaks em off
I wish I knew how to share a picture, because I would love for you all to see my wife's car. It's an '06 is350, not sure the exact color, but it looks like a heavily flaked candy apple red. It was lowered about 1.75" on the Tein coilovers, staggered fit on the 18" HRE wheels. Just an absolutely beautiful car!
Performance wise, nothing spectacular, it did have the F-sport exhaust and the F-sport intake. It has such a deep, rich tone when you mashed it. And the intake would suck the air from your lungs if you weren't careful, it REALLY moved a lot of air.
So, one night we were at the drag strip, and she became inspired to race. So when we left that night, I figured why not give her a lil taste of my world and took her down by the street races. And after watching a "built" Honda Civic annihilate everything he ran, her nerves were confident enough, and I made the callout, my wife vs a swapped civic, full boltons. The civic was real cocky at first, until we made it clear we were running from a dig, not a roll.
Sorry the video isn't clearer, but this is us, Civic on the left, my wife driving and me shotgun, in our is350. As soon as the hammer dropped, we pulled away from the Civic, and kept on pulling. Not sure how far we ran, had to be a lil more than 1/4, maybe 3/10ths, but whatever, as we let out of it, we were doing 125 and the car still had SO much more to give!
Unfortunately, the following weekend, a woman in a big Dodge Ram, blew a stop light and t-boned us into my side, totalling our beautiful new car we had only owned 29 days.
