Tell us the real reason you bought these. I think it's part of your "A" game.

Well, drag racing isn't fun enough to do, if you don't expect to do any better than you've already done.

Here is what I plan on doing. Not only am I going to pull out my passenger seat and rear seat. I am going to replace my windows with lexan, drop another 50lbs (even though I am around 9% body fat right now), put spares on my front tires, and put some racing stickers on my back and side windows (which are now lexan). hehe This should put me in the 12's.

haha good luck gernby, i'll pick your cats up for you this weekend.

Thanks for picking those cats up, and also for reminding me to order those "Type R" and "Powered by Honda" stickers!

I just mounted up my Hoosiers. They only weighed 20 lbs, but with air and the OEM rear wheels, they are a whopping 47 lbs! I didn't realize the OEM wheels were so friggin' heavy! I'll see why my street tires and wheels weigh on Saturday when I swap them out.

Same here!

Are you going to gradually up the rpm with the brake on take off? This is how you will get faster time with stickier tires right? If there are the same weight than OEM that is.

I really haven't perfected my launch method yet. I just push hard on the brake, give it some gas, and stare at the christmas tree. I don't even know what my RPMs are when I release the brake and floor it. We'll see how they do on Saturday if the weather is good enough.

You'll probably bog since you can't launch that high with the auto tranny. Does anyone know what kind of torque stall do we have in our car? How high of a rpm we can hold the rev at?

Hey Gernby i might show up Saturday at Enis. I'm not sure yet, it all depends on the wife now. She wants to visit her mom in Sherman. What time do you usually get there on Saturday?

I am wanting to get there by 11:30 so I can get teched and change my tires before the track opens. They supposedly start running at noon. I hope you can make it!
