We'll have to see if the mad scientist (Gernby) can set up some kind of controlled experiment.

I went to the track last night and got like 11 runs. The track hook so well that I had the rear tires at 35psi and I was getting 2.0X consistently. I was hitting a lot of 13.5 but I couldn't break my stock time. My best run of the night was 13.53@102.91, my highest trap was 103.10mph. The weather was low70/high60 and im sure it was humid out so maybe the weather has someting to do with it.

You aren't stock now? Also check the barometric pressure when you run for the evening. If it's above 30 then you are good. Apparantly this along with elevation has a larger influence on time than both temperature and humidity.

You said it. Elevation makes a HUGE difference. Two weeks ago, a 335i showed up at my 7,411 foot track in Mexico and posted a 14.6 best time. A few parts oft year we have some good 30s on the barometer.

Wouldn't barometric be the important thing regardless of altitude? I don't know much about it, but I thought altitude was just one of the factors that contributes to a lower barametric pressure.

Yeah regardless of altitude, barometric pressure is the biggest influence over power. This is a good article to read that will help explain things.

An engine is an air pump. Just like a supercharger and a turbocharger. And its ability to move air depends on the pressure at the intake. They ALL are described by pressure ratio: the pressure at the output is directly related to the input pressure.

The higher the barometric pressure, the higher the input pressure, the higher the output pressure. Simple arithmetic and thinking like an air molecule.
