With my Japan trip part deux looming, I've decided to give my back a much needed help. I'm starting to re-evaluate messenger bags for trips where there will be lots of walking. Add to the fact that I cannot seem to be bothered with mirrorless cameras, a change in carrying solutions is in order.

Let's start with the Thinktank Restrospective series. Great bag that does everything I need it to be: discreet, stylish, functional...and only recently it has become carriers of two full sized cameras. However, as with any great things, something has got to give. And I feel like pretty soon it will be my back.

So this Christmas, I thought I'd get myself a backpack that does almost everything that the TT Retro does. It wasn't easy. My criteria is quite simple, but very few bag makers seem to understand it.

I need a bag that is, you guessed it, functional but understated, without being too bulky. I need to be able to grab my cameras in and out of the bag without having to take the bag off. What makes it even harder is that I need it to be able to carry two cameras with lens attached without it being bulky.

I looked at many options and brands in the hopes that this bag exists. I perused the interwebs looking for this grey unicorn without much luck. Most other bags are either plastered with logos all over, or are the hard case type that are uncomfortable to wear for long periods. Most of them also have just enough space to carry one camera.

I had lost hope...then enter the Incase Pro DSLR Sling.

Didn't even know that Incase made camera bags. I thought they were just makers of laptop bags and ipad sleeves, but this bag is very thoughtfully made. Everything seems to be all in the right places. Looking forward to putting this bag to the test. And I thought it was just girls with a bag problem?
