Default decide to buy 2015 CT 200h, some questions

Hi, I am currently driving an old civic and plan to replace it. I decide to buy a 2015 CT 200h. My local dealers ask $31,174.0 for the bare model. It is a little higher than the shared price by others in autopriceshare. However, I thought the small price difference is acceptable and I am going to purchase it. In Seattle, it snows sometimes and I am not sure about whether 200h could handle the snow situation. Do I need to prepare the snow tires or snow chains for it? Thanks in advance

I had the same concern when I bought mine. I put a set of Blizzaks on it immediately, and it was really good in the snow. I'm not a fan of the dry weather handling of those particular tires, but they made my car work well! I had to drive in the snow with the OEM tires when I had the Blizzaks put on, and it did OK with them, too. I was surprised, but your driving style has a LOT to do with how well the car does. Anyone that drives in the snow a lot knows that the smoother you drive, the better the car AND the tires work.

Enjoy the new car! It turns out that it's a pretty fun car!

Someone complained on the CT200Forum that traction control is too agressive on slippery surfaces, but there is a deactivation button on facelifted CT. Best but pricey option is to have dedicated winter tyres with another rim set. And by winter tyre I mean real ones, like Xi3, R2, WS70/80 etc.

Winter tires on our CT 200 let us drive through snow deeper than the bottom of the front end, so you will be OK as long as you have the right tires.
