Hi guys, we've been working hard on our iOS version and it's now live on the Apple App Store!

Carista is an app for iOS and Android that can change your Lexus Personalized Settings (incl. that dreaded reverse beep!). All you need in terms of hardware is a cheap wireless OBD dongle: http://www.caristaapp.com/hardware/

If you had a feature that automatically enabled EV mode when you turn on the car I'd be all over it. Personally I'd only want the engine to start when I'm already out of the driveway. I'd get the app for that 1 feature alone.

I don't think that's possible through a setting, unfortunately. We can change most of the same settings that the dealer can change. But if even the dealer can't change it, then we can't either. At least for now, as we're using off-the-shelf standard hardware (ELM327).

Hello! Could you add TPMS coding feature to your app? Some have two sets of tyres, and it would be cool to be able set them when changing

I picked this up for Android just to turn off the back up beep, all the other features were a nice bonus.

Any chance you guys are working on the ability to turn off maintenance notifications? (non-nav)

I think you can reset your maintenance indicator with a sequence of button presses and other actions - I don't think software is required for that. Or are you talking about changing maintenance intervals?

Yes, that adapter should work.

The price is $19.99 USD for our Pro Package, which unlocks unlimited customizations and diagnostics on an unlimited number of cars. So that's the total you'll pay for the reverse beep, seat belt chimes and anything else you may want to change in the future... plus the ability to check all vehicle systems for any trouble and reset fault codes and warning lights.

hi, is the $20USD pro package manufacturer specific? or is this one-time payment apply to every car the app can support regardless of make? TIA

Thanks for the info, but I'm not looking for all that. Strictly the reverse beep and driver and passenger alarms.

Is the $20 a set price or is there an option for individual changes? The dealer was supposed to do the reverse beep for me last service but forgot.

Ah thanks. If you guys also support Mercedes C350 I'll purchase the pro for the sake of it since I already have a WiFi OBD2 plug to reset check engine lights on another app.

But to my initial request. Do you at least know what I'm talking about? In that when you turn the car on, if you press the EV mode fast enough, you can actually go in EV mode and coast out of your driveway/neighborhood before the engine even turns on. BUT....if you wait just 5 seconds to push the EV button, you wont even get a chance to go on EV again until the engine is warmed up.

thanks for the clarification. are there plans to support acura vehicles in terms of customization? i have 2 acuras (2015 ILX and 2015 TLX) in addition to the CT and of course the more vehicles the app supports the better value the pro package will be. TIA
