Default F-sport sway bars

Just purchased 2014 ct 200h w/ f-sport package and was wondering is it worth it to get the blue F-sport sway bars upgrade?

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

What is the 2014 F sport package if it does not include the suspension upgrades? Just a couple of badges?

I found this on the ct200hforum.com

I have an F Sport and the front measures 25mm (call it 25.4mm or 1") and the rear appears to be around 23mm. I see that the F Sport set that you can order is 28.5mm and 25.4mm,

I think the bigger sway bars will make a huge improvement in handling and reducing body roll. I have an SE which has the blue F Sport bars and springs and it almost drives like my old MINI, except for the acceleration part.

I was told last night (by a salesman that was not all that knowledgeable in other areas) that prior to the 2014 model year, the F Sport was "badging only", and there were no suspension upgrades. For the 2014, they included the F Sport suspension bits. I guessed this would mean including the F Sport sway bars, springs, and shocks, but maybe that isn't a safe assumption.

I was hoping that someone would confirm this.

From what I can tell, the shocks and springs are slightly stiffer, but the sway bars and lowering springs are an option on the 2014 F-Sport. You can get the car without the latter two items (which is what I have). Otherwise, much of it is just an appearance package (front/rear bumpers, badges, roof coloring, rear roof spoiler, unique color options like the Ultrasonic Blue, different finish on the wheels). I do believe the integrated backup camera in the rearview mirror is standard on the F-Sport.

the blue springs and sway bars are not standard in the F sport package, still additional options. the standard f sport items are different than a basic CT i believe.

That is correct. There are 3 sets of springs & sway bars for the CT. (1) Basic, (2) F-Sport package model from factory which has slightly stiffer springs and slightly larger sway bars. (3) Blue F-Sport lowered springs, much stiffer sway bars and shocks, available to purchase from Lexus and install on your car.
