Hey everyone,

I was installing my Ichiban V2 spacer today and decided to create a quick DIY for anyone interested.

You'll need the following.

- VHT Gloss Black Caliper Paint ( Color is optional )
- VHT Caliper Cleaner ( I didn't use any because my calipers were clean )
- Four Trash Bags
- Floor Jack

This is a very simple mod, Clean your calipers if needed. Should look like this.



You than want to take the trash bag and cover the entire rotor/caliper and any other place you want covered.



Once that's complete just tear a small hole in the bag to expose the caliper.



Now open the tear and carefully expose the area you would like to be painted.





At this point your can carefully spray the caliper using your VHT color of choice. I used a blowdryer to speed the process.



Should look like this.

At this point you're done. Mount your wheel and crack open a cold one!

If you see the picture of the painted caliper with the trash bag still on it. You can see there's marginal if any over spray. It's literally like 3 coats from like a foot away.

I've done this on my previous BMW and a few other peoples car with no issue of over spray.

I also painted my calipers blue and it came out great.

Those look great , that is the color I want to do mine. Did you use the VHT paint or G2?

This is awesome! For sure will do this when I get my big break kit.

If you get a big brake kit I will die of jealousy! I am reluctant to paint my calipers as it is because I don't really want to draw attention to 10 in discs. Now a six piston 13 inch vented disc is a different story.

Thanks! I bought a can of Dupli-color caliper paint at my local O'Reilly Auto parts store. They have various other colors as well. The part number is bcp104.
