Hello

Has anyone installed a block heater to CT 200h? There should be a hole in the block for the heater in 2ZR-FXE, but for some reason I can't find installation instructions for CT, only for Prius. There is also this Defa heater kit, but it isn't as effective as this hole type heater.

I got one when I bought the car new, it is an option in Canada so you should be able to order one and the Lexus techs can look up the install procedure on their system. It may even come with a diagram.
It's going to be in same place as the Prius because the motor is the same.

Thanks for the reply, can you check type of the heater installed your car? I can't post links with this post count to show pictures of different heaters, but you can find them with part numbers

Defa 413840, 300 W, installed on to the block
Calix 1822800 or RE 528, 400 W, installed in to a hole on the engine block

It's the internal type. You can look it up on the Lexus Canada site in the accessories pages.
