Clear Coat Issues
Has anyone had clear coat issues? I am showing some discoloration on the edge of the door. Is this something that is covered under CPO warranty?

i don't think so, and IMHO that looks more like a door ding of some kind that was later touched up? i don't know much about lexus CPO but i would think small door nicks and touch ups are acceptable imperfections when they CPO it?
mine is nearly 3 years old and i have not had any paint issues, but it's also white so very hard to see imperfections.

I am going to stop into the dealership and see what they say. The more and more I spend time in the car the more it seems like there has been an accident or the prior owner ruined the car.

even so, i think there is another member on this forum that was unhappy with his CPO but the fine print in CPO allows up to 3 panels repainted to qualify as a CPO.
so even if you find that it was repainted, i am not sure what kind of recourse you have unfortunately. i would say that lexus dealers should own up to body work at the time of sale, but it sounds like they just show you a carfax and that's it.

Going to the dealership today!
After talking with the service guy he said he would help me out at my next maintenance. This is awesome, I thought "Get this fixed and the car will last 15 years no problem." Then I found these,

Update:
Visited the dealer, they said they had the bumper resprayed. They will have it redone and I will be asking about warranty on that work for sure. On top of that though, they are going to fix the clear coat issue and fix some and fix damage to my mirror that I didn't see until examining the car after finding the other damage. Also a note to those buying a new CT have the front roof edge at the windshield wrapped. The airflow of the car causes debris to strike there often and hard, a wrap will soften that blow and protect the paint.
