Where will you place your front plate with 2014 F-Sport

Hey guys,
thought I'd share where I put my license plate. I used the tie strap method; just strapped the OEM plate frame and then screwed the license plate on the frame.
I'm thinking whether or not to strap it to the left side instead of right.

You do know, the tow hook method is used purely to "just get by" and pass inspection. By no means is it meant for dedicated use (imagine going through a car wash with that). Once you clear the fixit ticket, it should go back in the trunk where it belongs and you continue to rock on without a front plate.

No bending at all.
The kit is pretty strong. Mine is staying on 24/7 so I dont get pulled over in Texas.
Not worth having another excuse to pull you over for.

IMO, I think the plate looks better centered as normal than off-setting it. I find my eye immediately goes to the plate when it's off-set. But I do agree that the front end looks a whole lot better without a plate at all. Especially on the F Sport.

if the bumper is already drilled with the plate, why bother putting it on the side? it looks better straight than off to the side
most people don't want to drill the plate holder onto the car so they need to come up with a solution for the plate

*knock on wood* I've gone 15 years without a front plate on about 10+ cars among family in CA.
CA is not that strict... but that's just me, I will never put a front plate on my car, it's just the single most ugliest thing one can do to a car.
I even told my Lexus dealer if they put a plate on my car, I will not take delivery

Would it be bad to zip tie it below where they normally drill the front license holes? Looks like you could use something like zip ties to secure it about 6 inches down.
Or is it restricting (blocking) too much air from going into the engine bay?
I'm contemplating where to mount the front license plate too. (Recently got a 2014 CT200h F-Sport.)

#1 How does it react to high speed driving? Imagine going 80+ MPH to have that thing get ripped off the bumper.
#2 How much clearance is that from the bottom? On a non-lowered car, would you still be able to clear a parking bump stop?
#3 Where would you even mount it? Plastic on plastic doesn't seem like a good idea, especially when it looks like it'll funnel the on coming air right on it like a parachute..

I've seen it on a co-workers charger and he hasn't said anything about it rattling or causing any problems scraping, but I'll ask him.
I personally would not put that on my car.
