Default Back to the Lexus family

After seeing that the Lexus December to Remember sales event was ending yesterday, I decided to go down and check out some cars. I ended up taking home a Black/Black CT200h F Sport. I had been thinking about a Hybrid for a while now, but never thought I'd actually take the plunge. So far I'm happy I did. I traded a VW Touareg V8, which averaged about 12MPG and cost about $92 to fill up the 22 gallon tank, which I did twice a week. No matter how I look at it I will be saving money. This Lexus is #5 for me and something always draws me back to them. I'll post pictures when I get a chance later.

Congrats on your new purchase!

What are you going to do with all the money you save on gas?

That's a good question. I was organizing my receipts a few days ago for the year and spent just shy of $5,000 on gas last year. There was one weekend where I filled up 3 days in a row @ about $90 a fill-up. I've had the car a week now and my gauge is just hitting the half tank mark. I have been driving extremely conservatively for the most part and averaging about 40MPG, so I'm thrilled.

I haven't had time to take decent pictures of the car, but snapped this one while headed into work.
