Looks great! The grill looks better than on 3IS.

I think they should put a more powerful battery in it.

Unfortunately, Lexus Said We Would Have To Wait Until The Next Generation For A High Powered Variant. This Even After Filing For The Names CT200h, CT300h And CT400h.

That's what I want too . . . Or at least a CT300h with the powertrain from the Camry Hybrid. 200 combined horsepower? Yes please!

Yes and no. It all depends on how they set up the engine mapping. The powertrain that's in the CT200h is from the Prius but it's tuned for more sportiness so it loses some mpg. If they remapped the Camry Hybrid's powertrain for an extreme eco mode like our car already has, I think it'll be comparable if not better. The electric motor and gasoline engine won't have to work as hard to haul around our lighter vehicle. The 2013 CT200h weighs "only" 3150 lbs compared to the Camry Hybrid's 3435 for the LE and 3525 for the XLE.

Don't forget the CT weighs more than the Prius because of extra sound deadening, luxury weight. So that's understandable.

I actually believe the CT could do better mileage with the 2.5L I5 Hybrid found in the Camry, Avalon, and ES300h as well. All 3 weigh more than the CT, and offer more power. The kicker is, The little 1.8L in the CT has to work harder than the 2.5L in the others because of it's smaller displacement. Both the CT and ES300h get near identical mileage. Throw in the 2.5L and watch performance and efficiency increase

Probably the extra weight is not from sound deadning because I consider the CT fairly loud compared to even some economy vehicles. I travel a lot for work and I'm comparing it to the compact to intermediate rental vehicle.

F-Sport looks good. Slightly different from the rendering on the 1st page of the thread

New facelift looks gorgeous, like the new aggressive front grille (full spindle grille). The rear ain't bad either, new rims look good as well!

Looking forward to the normal version as that was the F Sport.

The front looks great, but I wish they did more with the rear redesign. It was always the weakest point of the CT's design for me.

Anyway, this looks like a great mid-cycle refresh. I'm interested in this car.

How strong is that grill? Doesn't look like it can withstand a slight bump, but maybe it's stronget than it looks. Urban parking folks are always backing into the front bumper in tight spots. I got the BumpShox for my CT last year for extra protection.
