Hi, all. I seem to have a similar issue to what is happening here:

Two of the panels on my trunk (hatchback) door are meting or warping. One spot is on the panel that projects out from the top of the car (spoiler?) and the other is the lip of the trunk door (right above the license plate and below the rear window).

I haven't been able to find much more information on this problem. Has anyone else experienced warping exterior panels and if so how did your dealership handle the situation? I've already taken it back to them once and the same thing is happening again. I don't have an assigned parking spot and move my car around often. None of my coworkers or roommates have this issue. I don't think this is what should be expected from a "luxury" vehicle.

Interesting.. I haven't heard of this problem on any CTs before.

I would hustle your dealership to completely replace the whole rear hatch for you under warranty.

Crazy, but at least one of those people seemed to have gotten a favorable resolution from their dealer. I second what Tennis100 wrote; if you're still under warranty I would bring the issue up with your dealer and have them replace as much as possible.

I really wouldn't surprise me if any car company used less material to lighten their vehicles both physically and monetarily thus causing these problems.
