Metra Dash Speaker Harness?
Hello people!
Does anyone know if Metra makes a speaker harness for the CT200h's dash speakers? I am planning on replacing the 2, or maybe 3, of the 3 dash speakers, but I do not want to cut into the existing wiring. I know the connector is different than the door speakers that use .
I'll be replacing my door speakers with Infinity Reference 6502iX and 9603iX soon. I would want to find some nice Infinity Reference 3.5" for the dash too, but if I were to replace 3 speakers, it will be difficult to buy a single speaker since they are mainly sold in pairs.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the pics. Unfortunately we do not have that connector. I guess I'll end up pulling my speaker out and see if there are any markings on the connector to see who makes it, then see if I can find the correct part.

If you cannot find a proper harness, I will probably end up sawing off the stock connector from the OEM speaker. I looked over Metra's other adapters on their website and couldn't find anything else either. Hopefully someone else has the harness.

As much as I hate to tell you to do it, I think you might need to hack off the connector. I can't find any harness we have that would remotely come close to this one. Toyota has been one to use different connectors for their dash speaker for some reason. Normally their door and rear speakers have the same connector but the dash has always been odd.

This has been discussed several times on the CT200h forum, so if you need more info check it out there. To my knowledge there is no commercially available mating connector for the dash speakers. I talked with Metra and Crutchfield directly about this. I ended up just cutting the stock connector off and crimping to my new speaker wires. Luckily the standard Lexus speaker connector does work for the 4 door speakers though, just not for the dash. Strange that they made that design decision.

Thank you for the responses. Once I get my dash speakers, I'll just hack off the connector off the speaker. I have looked through the Ct200h forums and found the same information. I actually followed your guide lenoar40 for the door speakers which was helpful. Hopefully the dash install goes well.
On a side note, I do have the premium audio package and have the additional center dash speaker. Will the system still sound fine without changing the center? Otherwise, I would need to buy a single speaker or split a pair.
