Exclamation HID Kit Help

DDM HID Kit, 35W, H11, 5000K
Bulb Type: H11
Wattage: 55 Watt
Bulb Color: 5000K

Is what I decided on, now to find someone that will install these for me.... I don't trust myself! Who can I go to? what kinda shop would do this for me? how much would they ask for from what I keep reading is quite simple install?

Thanks any input is truly appreciated.

Try Tommy (MusicBox) in El Monte. I heard he does good work.

Guys, why not just ask for help on the forum, from other Lexus owners who have put these in their cars already? I am sure you can find someone willing to help. Just a thought. It doesn't take long to do.

Dude, I doubt IS, LS, ES owners, etc. go into the CT section, so you might want to see who on those sections live near you.

Smile Also bought the same HID kit

LxTxNx,

I also bought the same kit but in 6000k color ( white with hint of blue)

It looks pretty easy to install and I think I am going to try it myself and I am not much of a self-installer. But in this case, you remove the plastic cover with some pop-up plastic plugs. Unhook the old lights and hook up the new and secure the ballasts with some industrial velcro. NO WIRE cutting or modification!

There is a great write-up (with pictures) on the CT200h forums which you are also a member by Audi4T http://www.ct200hforum.com/forum/lex...ml#post1636498

Good luck ... You can DO IT

Fog light is the same as low beam - H11 DDM slim HID 35W 5000K (pure White)

Even though OEM Fog is 55W DDM recommends only 35W for fog lights.

I'm an sc owner and i saw this and came here.. There's instructions on how to install them on the site. You probably don't need a harness. I've done it on several cars for several people it's really quite simple. Don't waste your $ getting someone to install it for you. Just learn how to do it yourself and you'll feel more accomplished.

BigBang - Did you read the whole thread? He's not comfortable doing it & has seen the instructions as someone has already provided a link for them (above). I'm sure if someone helps him do it, that will give him the courage to do more of his own mods on his car.

Thumbs up

LxTxNx got his HID lights installed , thanks to a lot of pMs to Jimmyc13. I am still waiting for my kit to arrive.

This seems like a great mod an a more cost effective solution than ordering lED headlights up front.

Thanks to all for their support and advise!

I'll post pics with new fog lights later, I ended up installing Sylvania H11SU as fogs.
