Default TRS Morimoto H11 Elite HID System

I installed TRS Morimoto H11 Elite HID System in my Driving and Fog lamps last weekend, thought I would share some pics. I went with the 4300k bulbs to match the stock LED DRLs. Very pleased with the results. The Retrofit Source (TRS) was great to deal with, got my 2nd kit at a discount with free delivery.

The Kit:

Relays:

Wiring harness:

Ballast:

Bulbs: Sorry, bulb protectors were still in place.

TRS HIDs w/stock Fogs:

TRS Driving and Fog HIDs installed:

Driving HIDs only:

The fogs are HID, the last pic shows both the HID Driving and Fog lights. I initially thought of just replacing the fog bulbs with PIAA Xtreme White bulbs, which are $95 on the PIAA website. But for $35 more, it made much more sense to go with the TRS HIDs.

Also considering these over DDM. I've had DDM in the past and hate their crap. Cheap, unreliable and ****ty service.

Now just contemplating if I should also do the fogs and if I want 4500k or 5000k.

I have the Phillips ultinon 6000k for my GS460 fog, they are hands down the best kit in the world (the kit might be hard to find these days)

I've been running them for almost 8 years (taken from my last car) and still working glitch free

Just order the 5000k kit. Remember, we need the H11"B" which is not listed on their site.

hi
I'm planning on getting the kit. Sounds like the relay kit is unnecessary for our cars? So do I order
A) Canbus kit (even thought the CT doesn't need the can bus) or

B) Relay kit and not use relay and just hook up the ballast to the existing connector??

If I remember correctly, it was CAN-BUS with H11B bulbs.

However, after a year I had issues with one of the headlights non igniting in the mornings sporadically. I think a few others reported the same. I'm iffy to give them another shot, I just want an HID kit that works and is reliable.
