LED Headlamps

LED Headlamps
So I recently bought a 2016 F Sport but it does not have the LED option. I really wanted that option because then it would have had actual leather seats and memory seating position. But everyone knows in this used car market that's like finding a unicorn at the end of rainbow on the moon.
Has anyone ever upgraded the factory halogen headlamps to Toyota/Lexus factory LED headlamps. There are some factory complete factory LED assemblies for sale on the internet but I am unsure of the wiring loom side of things. I am pretty certain that this is not a direct plug-n-play option.
Plus I don't really care about the headlamp washers or the auto leveling feature. I just want a clean factory installation without hacking into the wiring loom, and not having to mount ballasts to the frame/surrounding areas.
Has anyone done this upgrade?

I'd try and find out if there are any external electronic controllers to go with the LED assemblies. Is that a halogen bulb in the 2nd picture?

There are definitely external control modules (that may reside internally)
Though keep in mind these are first-gen assemblies so they run dim and hot compared to 2nd gen, 3rd gen, 4th gen, and now 5th gen technologies. These are essentially the same units in the 2010 Prius. Lots of foreground and not a lot of distance. So if you drive high speeds, keep it in mind.
If I were you I'd go the distance king and go twin RX350 BI-XENONs. You'll wake the dead 3 miles up, especially when you mod said projectors like I did. Twin long distance lasers.
(many retrofits under my belt since 2002 when HID modding was exotic, including the world's first Lexus with DOUBLE TRIPLETS OEM LED PROJECTORS) (six full OEM LED units)

OP, honestly the best option is to do the HID retrofit. like e46ct.
