Default What is the plastic slot on the drivers visor for?

Anyone know what that slot is for on the back of the driver side visor? it's not on the passenger side and I'm not sure what would fit in such a small slit opening.

I always thought it was to hold some sort of pass. Maybe an ID badge or some sort of badge to open a gate. So just a handy holding place. Not sure though

In the European Union we pay to use expressways - national roads. This place is for the ticket you get when entering the highway that you have to give back to a machine before exiting !

That's what it's for here as well, including parking ramp tickets.

Default Interesting...

Going to have to figure out what to do with it here in the USA. My fastrak isn't thin enough to fit in there! Hahaha. Thanks for the info.

I do a fair amount of urban parking (parking garages) it works perfectly for holding the lot-ticket. I used to wedge them in the wood trim dash creases on my old RX so I'm glad to have it:-)

In my town, Lexus owners get free valet parking at a local outdoor-style mall. The dealer gave be a plastic Lexus of Huntsville Benefits card that fits in that spot perfectly!

I find a variety of uses. Parking deck swipe card, parkway toll card, parking deck card, and I even used it for registration/insurance cards. Nice addition to the Lexus visor and occurs across the new Lexus line.

Yeah, it seems that every salesman likes that "business card holder" line. I heard it from multiple salesmen. It is for parking stubs from what I understand.

But it is also for anything that fits into it! I think my favorite use I have seen posted so far was bacon...

I agree with the parking stubs theory. (And perhaps parking tickets.)
