Adding USB ports for rear
I have three kids and no surprise, they all have iPods that need constant charging.
I was thinking of putting some rear 1A USB ports either in the back of the center counsel. The cleanest looks to be adding the Belkin style cigarette lighter USB ports since I can't seem to find any real nice OEM looking USB dash mount versions.
Anyone try this yet or have any good ideas on making this look OEM. I even thought of buying a replacement USB part that is in the current CT200h center console and mounting it somewhere.
Thoughts from the club?
Thanks,
Peter

I am on a business trip for a week, but I'll see if I can dig up some pictures of what I did... I essentially disassembled a cigarrette lighter style dual USB plug and mounted it... three of them actually - one on the dash, one center console up front, one in the arm rest console... they look like they came from the factory that way... this was on an IS300 and requires a little DIY ability, but overall it wasn't too hard at all...

sakataj, no ashtrays in rear. I was thinking at base of the center counsel, since it would be easy to tie it into the existing lighter socket. But anything near the feet is always a bad spot, since it can get stepped on or kicked. I found that out on my last car.
