CT200h ranked 3rd in R&T comparison test
In the Road & Track October issue, they had an article that compared 8 cars against each other that had to have as least 30 mpg and fun to drive. They used some complex formula that had 10 variables that included skidpad, slalom, mpg, acceleration, etc and came up with a value. The CT200h ranked 3rd, which is a decent rank. Here is the list:
1. Fiat 500 Abarth
2. Chevy Cruze Eco
3. Lexus Ct200h
4. VW Jetta TDI
5. Mazda 3i Touring
6. Hyundai Velostar
7. Dodge Dart Rallye
8. Honda Sport Fit
Some notable stats on the CT compared to the rest is that it was the heaviest, most expensive, tied with the Fit for slowest in the 0-60, and best mpg. No doubt the mpg lifted its score.

The 1st two don't compare at all if value, longevity, and dependability were factored in.

To see the CT as the slowest, most expensive, heaviest shows its other merits make it a big winner. I've always had fun zipping around town in the CT, it is a fun car and a very fun Lexus. I'm glad to see the press give it kudos.
The Hyundai Veloster is a sporty mess and continues to get panned for looking sporty but driving like a Town Car relatively speaking. To see the usually first Honda Fit last is really mind blowing.

The CT is relatively new (1st generation). Lexus will improve the CT over time. Glad to see it placed well.
I'd like to see another CT variant such as a CT 300h sporting a larger hybrid engine drivetrain.
