Review: CT 200h F-Sport Edition
I had the pleasure of taking the CT 200h F-Sport Edition out for a test drive a few days ago. Lots of fun little changes to the stock CT that make the vehicle a little more fun to look at...and to drive.
Drivability
The major changes to drivability are in the suspension components. Lexus tuned the suspension to make it more sporty and dynamic, by adjusting the spring rates. The car feels just as comfortable as the stock car, but definitely feels more sporty. I found myself feeling the bumps in the road a little more, but not significantly so as compared to the stock CT. Unfortunately, my vehicle did not have the sway bar/strut bar set installed, so I cannot comment on that at this time. My test vehicle was also not lowered on the F-Sport springs either.
Looks
Everything is the details in the looks department. The steering wheel and body have the addition of F-Sport logos, and the shift **** comes with perforated leather. You also have your choice between the F-Sport NuLuxe seats, which have a slight blue-ish hue to them, or the perforated leather ones. The rear spoiler is about an inch or so longer to improve aerodynamics and add a subtle aggressive look to the vehicle. The Ultrasonic Blue Mica paint finish that is exclusive to the F-Sport line of Lexus vehicles is also available on the CT 200h F-Sport edition, and boy, is it stunning in both sunny and cloudy conditions. Something about the finish just makes the paint glow with intensity. The F-Sport pedals also add a nice, sporty touch to the vehicle.
Wheels
The F-Sport CT 200h comes with available F-Sport Trident wheels in 17" sizing. The wheels are some of the most aggressively styled wheels I've seen in any F-Sport vehicle and the scalloped trident spears for each spoke evoke movement around the vehicle, even when it is standing still.
Overall, a very fun vehicle to drive, and would probably be even more sporty if you add on the F-Sport springs and sway bar/strut bar set. Definitely a good start for someone looking to get a more sporty CT, but remain OEM and under warranty.

Yes that CT is pre 2014. It is an F Sport. It has the mess upper and lower grill. Non F Sport have horizontal slates for the upper and lower grill...
