Default Considering lightweight wheels from Volk (CE28 or TE37) ~ Improve MPG too?

Does anyone here have these wheels on the CT?

I have a set of 18's but the only problem is they are 5x114.3 so looking to buy a set of 17" in the odd 5x100 lug pattern soon.

I'm curious what the stock wheels weight each? We all know decreasing weight is a good way to improve MPG but reducing rolling weight is even better!

Anyone CT owners here that are running CE28 or TE37? I'm shopping for a set of dark gun-metal CE28's preferred....

I'm sure the lighter weight will increase MPGs. However, I'm assuming you'll want flush fitment, which will definitely affect drag coefficient. The CT's stock wheels are pretty recessed, I'm assuming to reduce the coefficient of drag. I don't know by how much it'll affect your MPG though. The combination of lighter weight plus slightly increased drag may just even everything out.

Get the NEW Rays wheels like G20 or something, they are even lighter I believe.

Good point - I never thought of that but hoping to find a nice balance / compromise. I do want a bit more aggressive stance but not too crazy since I want to retain the stock tires.

Any pictures of them? Guess I'll have to look into these if I do end up buying new.
