Yes, that was my thinking. My first car was black and even with tint that thing was super hot in the summer time. I thought that the black roofing, even just a wrap, would increase the heat absorption but I'm glad to know this isn't the case.

One of the reasons I wrapped the CT roof is because right where my windshield glass meets the roof, there was paint chips from rocks I never thought of doing the edge of my roof sadly when I did the clear bra film. So the black roof wrap protects the paint nicely and gives the car a more aggressive sport appearance.
Thanks for the info!

UPS just delivered a few new boxes ~ just been busy with our newborn son who is roughly 2 weeks old now, kids REALLY keep you busy and on their schedule!

Cars mods will come just much slower these days....

thanks^ I'm keeping things simple with this car since this is my wife's commuter car!

We re-wired the V1 using the SAVVY module and doing some small interior mods right now.

happy friday!

Life's been busy so haven't really touched the car much in terms of mods but picked up another toy recently. These cars could not be more opposite of each other but oddly enough I found a few things that are quite similar!

Differences:
F-sport vs. M-power
45mpg vs. 14.5 mpg
4 cyl + battery vs. V8
215 tire vs. 275 tire
1 pipe vs. 4 pipes
LED DRL vs. Halo DRL
Fogs vs. No fogs
Backup cam vs. PDC Beep

Same:
Fold down rear seats
Room for 5
LED Tails
Black roofs
Push Button Starter
Rotary **** controller for Infotainment
Gun-Metal Rims
Fun to Drive
Supportive Front Seats

It's a custom version of what you see here:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/clu...-new-post.html

We are building a custom subwoofer for this car and in keeping with the theme of efficiency, it will be super lightweight and use triple JL 6W3's and a tiny blade amp. Also have to find time to tear the dash apart to install my NAVI bypass and USB AUX cables.
