Sharing my CT200h, it's audio build, and other improvements.

As a brief background, I am based in Manila, Philippines. I acquired the CT200h early this year (2012). Having been an audio enthusiast (car, portable and home) for a good number of years, I was keen to build a good audio system whilst keeping the OEM feel of the car.

Appreciate the comments Dez, 2013NGCT, and RTIS250.

Plan for the audio install was underway even before I took delivery of the car.

Audio install gets kudo's but c'mon, you REALLY drive with an iPad blocking everything like that???? wth

If you are going to use any tablet please at least make it look OEM!

It seems you really planned the rest of the car stereo....?

Thank you for the comments, s4play.

Yes, with Manila traffic, when I do not need any more than the ECO setting, I use the Ipad. Bigger display to choose my music.

When driving in the freeway, I use the sttock headunit if I brought CDs. If not, I use an iTouch (as taken in this picture)

As for the OEM-look, I was hesitant to replace the stock headunit due to its size and placement. Instead, I retained it's full functionality; and had a custom hi-lo input converter created. (converts speaker wire outputs to RCA outputs with individual gain settings).

Fortunately, I'm able to have these flexibilities due to my processor. It is able to receive and decode digital signal (from the Ipad and the iTouch) as well as analog signal (from the stock headunit). Selectable input with a press of a button.

Another reason for not permanently integrating a tablet was on practicality, In my mind, I have the flexibility to use both my Ipad and iTouch inside and outside of the car environment.

Fair question. You are correct sir, my system remains to be a work-in-progress.

2013, bone stock except for the TSWs. Next up tint and a drop. Not sure if I'm going with tanabe coils or road magnet springs.
