Default Avg total miles after each fill up?

Hey guys! I was wondering if i can get some feedback from you CT owners in regards to how many miles you guys get per fill up! Thanks in advance! I went on my first test drive of the CT200h and i was quite impressed how great it handled stock and how smooth and quiet the ride was. I'm getting closer and closer to a decision!

I bought mine in January and when I first got it I was getting about 38mpg after 2,400 miles last 2 fill-ups I got 46 and 48 mpg. Around town driving in sport mode (which I now leave it in about 90% of the time) I figure I can easily get 45-47 mpg. Driving on the interstate around 70 drops it considerably to around 40-41 mpg and driving about 80 gets it down to 38-40 mpg.

I keep meticulous records of all my vehicles (inlcuding mpg among other things). The computer on my CT consistently rates my mpg at about 2 mpg over actual.

I went from a V8 GS to this little thing and I love it. It is not fast but it is fun to drive....like driving a go-cart. Oh and going from premium getting 20mpg to regular getting 45mpg puts a big smile on your face....and your hip.

Has it been pretty consistent in the 40's?

Just picked mine up on Tuesday but I'm mostly on the highway. So far the car says 42 so I'll update after my 1st fill up. I agree with OutlawTita The car drives like a go cart it's just fun that's what I say so far.

Give it a few hundred miles and you'll see better mileage. You're still in the break in period so your mileage will vary.

I fill up every Friday morning. Last Friday I got 48.6 mpg but I drove the whole week staying off the interstate when possible and trying to milk it for the best possible mpg.....I was very satisfied with the results. Today I filled up for the week after driving all week in sport mode and never looking at the mpg and driving around to have as much fun as possible and averaged 41.8 mpg.....again I am very satisfied with the results. If I can get almost 42 mpg driving around having as much fun as possible then I will be very happy with this little car.

All4sho - I don't think you were looking for MPG's, so if you wanted miles, I'd say the average is 400 MILES before the light comes on. Not sure if you've heard or read on the forums about the reserve capacity, but I believe the CT is designed for the light to come on when you have 2.9 gallons of fuel left (don't ask why). I say that because when you go and fill up after the light comes on, you can barely get 9 gallons in the car and the CT's tank is 11.9 gallons.

Some members on here or over on ct200hforum.com have experimented to see how far they could go without running out and if you do the math, say you get 40 MPG average, you should easily be able to go another 80- 100 miles or more. I believe some have gone 520 miles or more on one tank, but driving for 100 miles with the fuel light on just isn't for me!

I was wondering about that. I drove my wife's CT once and had less than 5 mile range of the car, and when I filled up it topped off at 8.9 gallons, which means I still had 3 gallons left in the tank. We've been getting about 44mpg, so that means we still had more than 120 miles left.

Use what it calls for 87 octane or 89 if you feel like splurging. The reason they have a large reserve is simple, never run the car empty they don't want you on battery power alone for any reason. Unless stranded why chance it anyway. I got 43.3mpg on mine the first tank.
I range between 40-45mpg.....depending on me driving it or my wife. I get way better mileage. Also running tank low can cause other issues like the pumps not getting cooled.
