Default What MPG are you getting?

I'm averaging 43.1 miles per gallon with average speed of 28mph.

The below picture is after I filled up and drove home very very smoothly (about 5 miles) so theoretically it is possible to get 50+mpg...

It's all dependent on the driving conditions, terrain, temperature and your speed. I've achieved 70+ MPG for a 5-7 mile stretch (was in EV mode majority of the time) as it was warm out (no AC or heat was on) and the terrain was relatively flat with very little stopping. This can be easily done w/ these conditions and keep your speed below 40 MPG, accelerate gradually & keep the ECO needle below the 1/2 way mark. But that's for these short distances only with perfect conditions and your battery will likely be fairly low at the end of the drive.

I read about a hypermiler with an HS who hypermiled for an entire tank of gas, drove only local roads and obtained over 1,000 miles on 1 tank (I think his tank MPG was over 70 MPG)? It's on this forum.

A bit of stop and go, no higher than 45 mph... and during the final 1/3 mile or so when I pulled into my sub-division I activated EV mode. In the end I still had more than 1/2 of the battery charge showing on the gauge.

If you are getting more than 42-43 mpg on a tank, you are driving too slow.

I'm getting 43-44mpg......we have hills and turns in our roads here. The NE is notorious for less mileage Florida they get ridiculous numbers. I'm sure Texas and a few other flat states can get really high mileage. You can't bypass hills here.
I'm also sure mountainous states get lower mileage. Region is relative high/low numbers.
