Default Question on the CT200h instrumentation

I've been lurking this forum for a couple of days and I appreciate all the info. Have a quick question about the ct200h dash/instrumentation. Does the tachometer only show when you're in sport mode? Is it possible to have that view (with the tach) be on all the time? Thanks.

Don't know about any way to make it always display, but yes, it only shows during Sport mode currently.

Yes. It only shows during sport mode. I didn't see any additional options to display it otherwise.

I find it a little amusing to see a tachy in a car with a CVT though.

Post Yes you can

There are options to set the tachometer to show all the time in any mode. There are options to also set the fuel efficiency gauge to display all the time.

These are setable in either the Nav or non-nav models via owner customization

You press the "DISP" button on the steering wheel until you get to the SETTING screen (page 684 owner's manual).

Go to TACHOMETER

settings: AUTO, KEEP ON, OFF (AUTO is default)

OFF --will result in always displaying the fuel effiiciency guage, even in sport mode.

ON -- will result in the tachometer always displaying

AUTO- only shows tachometer in "sport" mode.
