May have to get those wheels if the Tridents don't get here soon. Didn't see them listed in 17" when I looked

Where did you purchase the RSR springs? I couldn't locate a retailer for them.

Thanks for sharing. Do you have any better full side photos with better lighting to see where the tire ends & the wheel gap starts? Really hard to see in those pics/angles/lighting posted (sorry to be a pain).

Also, do you know how much these springs drop the car and how many finger gap is provided after the install?

Thanks

I just looked at those pics again. Is it me or is there like really tight clearance at the calipers on the front rims?

teamstrykr, the rs*r springs aren't sold in the u.s. i got my set through private/personal means from japan.

the rs*r down springs info:
front drop = 25-30mm
front spring rate = 2.9 kg/mm (162 lb/in)
rear drop = 15-20mm
rear spring rate = 4.75 kg/mm (266 lb/in)

jimmyc13, don't know when i can get around to posting more pics, but the drop is around a 2 finger gap in the front and a 3 finger gap on the rear. i wish there was a little more drop all around, but later realized that rs*r did this for the best compromise in terms of daily driveability and look. the wheel arches of the ct200h are large, as you know, while at the same time the chassis sits low to the road. lowering the car any further will cause you to scrape a lot and cause clearance issues daily driving, especially if you have load in the car. another important aspect to consider is going lower will decrease any remaining effective damper travel. beyond that is coilover territory, granted, the coilover is engineered and tested properly with the correct spring/damper rates (something like h&r, bilstein, ohlins, hks, koni, NOT tein ss crap )

the front brake caliper clearance is an optical illusion. there's over 1.25"+ clearance from the fattest portion of the caliper to the innermost section of the re30's. the re30's are designed with big caliper clearance in mind...

thanks for the comments everyone! maybe i'll post up some more pics after i get the spacers on the rears.
