Dammit, if this is a common issue, why doesn't lexus (toyota) do something about it??

I just got the car and am super annoyed at the fact that I had to fill up but it only took 9.1 gallons!

When my needle hits the last hash mark I mentally add a 100 miles to my Trip A and that tells me when i need to fill

And talk about reviving a dead thread :P

Because you'd be even more annoyed if you actually did run out of gas and then you saw a sign that says "Next Gas 110 Miles" .

That extra few gallons of gas in reserve could have gotten you there, or at least would have made your walk to the next town easier.

Most I have driven past 0 is 86 miles. I'm sure it could go more. The most I have ever been able to TOP OFF was 11.8 gallons.
