2015 CT200H Silver exterior/Black interior
Base + Backup Camera + Seat Comfort Pkg + Preferred Acc Pkg
MSRP $34334
Final Price: $30995

Sewell Lexus Dallas

I'm very interested in the Extended Warranty. Price quoted was $3300. I'd be more comfortable to purchase if it were closer to $2000. Marty can you share more info on our extended warranty. That price sounds incredible!

Sure. It was the true Lexus VSA with $0 deductible Platinum coverage for 6 years or 125,000 miles. Its officially on my Purchase agreement for $1,500. But I asked if they could reduce my monthly car payment to a round dollar amount (which was just $4 away) then I would agree to the VSA. So they reduced my interest rate to 1.69% to accomplish that. That $4 * 60 months is $240 so I saw it as I purchased the VSA for $1,500 - $240 = $1,260.

Default 2015 Lexus Ct F sport

Bay area, CA
2015 CT F-Sport
Ultra white with black roof
premium, Top of the line
Fully loaded with Nav, cargo net, leather seats, garage door access and everything the highest package offers.
Was supposed to be $39978
GOT IT FOR $34,000. Zero down. 0.9% APR FOR 5 years
with extended warranty from 5 to 8 years.
with XPROTECTION (paint protection, spill resistant on the inside and some cool stuff they offered for $50 more on my monthly payment.)
Covers all maintenance for 8 years like tune ups, oil change and everything that they need to replace/fix. Pretty much the only thing i didnt get is free car wash.

I can say i got really LUCKY!😊 i did research before i bought it. Compared prices. And i knew the lowest price they could let it go for.
First thing i said to the sales person was "look im gonna be straight to the point. It's my way or no way. You gotta please me here since you need to sell a car. And i know i can always go to a different dealership if i dont like the numbers i see." Said it nicely with a smile on my face.

Looking at my lease buy out option (first time doing this) for my 2012 with 29k miles. MSRP was 36k and my residual value now is $22.6k. I know similar priced cars are going for a little higher, but any chance the dealer would discount that residual price if bought?

Thanks

I'm not sure how Lexus treats this but I know that when I returned an Acura RL after lease, Acura would not budge on the residual price for me to buy it back. It was not the dealer's decision but it was Acura finance who owned the car and made the decision.

The residual price was way too high. The dealer had over 30 of them in the back lot that were lease returns. They all went to a closed auction where only Acura dealers could bid on them. When I had someone with access check Manheim auction site they all sold for more than $5,000 less than residual.

Call Lexus financial and ask them. You have nothing too loose.

Got a quote for 33.8K OTD for a 2015 F-Sport (Non-Navi). How good of a deal is this? Should we keep looking or take it.

I had a 2010 smartcar that had nothing but problems and was almost off warranty. I needed a new car but I wanted one that was at least as good on gas and was cheaper to maintain. My price range was 15,000 to about 22,000. I was looking mainly at the Prius and Prius c. A new Prius c was selling for about 22-23 grand and I couldn't find a used one for less than 17,000. It seemed pretty expensive for a very unexciting car.

I had come across a craigslist add for a used Ct200h fsport and I couldn't stop looking at it... It was way out of my price range at about $31,000 and even the regular models were in the high 20's. Just when I was serious about looking into a Prius, an ad came up for a 2012 ct200h for $22,900 at a Lexus dealership. I knew there had to be something wrong with it for that price (remember I live in Canada and things cost more here and this was almost a year ago.)

It turned out it was in an accident and the rear bumper and tail light had to be replaced. I checked it out and there was no frame damage and and it seemed to be all cosmetic. It was a lease return and it was originally sold and serviced at the dealership so I wasn't too concerned. It was fixed well... Not perfectly though. If you look really close you cam notice some imperfections but nothing major.

I got it for $22,500 and even though it's not perfect, I think for the same price as a Prius c and almost as good fuel economy I did pretty well!

If you're getting it for $33.8K OTD that's a great price, when I got mine, they said they were not dealing on the F-Sports at all

From Toronto, Canada.
2014 Nebula Gray F-Sport without NAV but with display. All the F-Sport upgrades, but no Remote starter, tilting mirrors or NAV.
Demo Model with 3,000km
$34,500 Canadian Dollars.
I had to negotiate down from $37,500. 2015 model sells for $40,000 here. I had to explain that $2,500 was not enough of a depreciation discount. They don't seem to understand depreciation when it doesn't work in their favor...
