• Do not allow dirt and dust to accumulate on the windows for a long period.
Clean the windows with a soft, damp cloth as soon as possible.
• Do not use wax or glass cleaners that contain abrasives when cleaning the

Interesting. None of this was listed in the Prius' owner's manual.

What do you mean? It seems to work fine (or at least does what it says it does).

If the worst thing about the vehicle is that they didn't spray rain-x on the windows from the factory... Well, uh....

The front window repellant works awesome, though not sure why they didn't include that on the windshield where it's needed most? I need to get around to putting Rain-X on the windshield at some point.

Hi all,

New to the forum here, I recently purchased a 2013 RX 350 which comes with the water repellent glass. It was working great but after I brought it to a car wash i noticed the water stopped beading up and it actually smudges now each time i use the windshield wiper, luckily the smudges goes away pretty quickly. But it is annoying that the water no longer beads up. Does anyone else have this problem? or know how to resolve this?

I read from the lexus website that the glass is suppose to permanently repel water and it does not require special treatment. If I had read otherwise I would not have brought it to the car wash. Please help. Thanks
