Default Turbo Hyrbrid CT??

Who wants to see a 400hp turbo hybrid CT200?? I think I do!

That would be awesome, granted the turbos are in the engine bay where they belong.

that would be awesome but wouldnt it defeat the purpose of the hybrid?

^^ I don't think so, im pretty sure the engine is always 'on' in this car even when its using the battery to power it up to 28mph.

So the turbo will be spinning along with the idling motor when battery mode is on.

Or better yet; rip out the battery save an odd 500lbs of weight from the misc equipment and swap in the IS350 motor

The 2GR-FSE only shows up in longitudinally mounted drivetrains... but the 2GR-FE, which is plenty powerful for what would be a 2900lb car, would probably fit.

Actually, the powertrain is Prius, so the ICE is shutdown during decel and stop and much of the time while coasting unless it is needed for heat.

Lexus should offer a CTF in their line up! Now that would be something. Only if the CT200h came with a standard manual transmission as an option at least to fulfill some of the more oldschool type enthusiast. Saving gas and having some fun clutch heel toe action
