For someone that used to be somewhat active on Facebook, I am requesting a writeup or documentation of this on ClubLexus myself, since I am no longer authorized by employer to have a Facebook account for security reasons.

Anyone that has Facebook that would be willing to post up the writeup or install instructions/etc., would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The link takes you to a CT page where you have to be accepted to the group to access. I went through and got access and the link that was posted here is of a photo and a video. Heres the photo:
There is no write up that goes with it. The post simply states "DRL mod, done. High powered all the time. It's freaking amazing. It's so bright at night, like the Audi's" This is not for the foglight question, simply the DRLs being on full brightness. The video just shows a handheld "compustar" device locking/unlocking the car and turning the DRLs on, after watching several time the low beams don't come on in the video so I can say for certain anything was done based on the facebook post.

Looks like we still are waiting for answers...

Compustar is not turning on the DRL it is turning on the parking lights. The parking lights then in turn, turn on the DRL. Your car will not light up the DRL that bright at night time.

You also forgot to mention what I said in a follow up post about the fog lights.

So you're saying all you need is a compustar device and that's it? Do they stay at full brightness when the low beam is turned on?

an update on how to have DRLs on 'bright' with dipped beam would be useful.

I figured out that you can tap drl (+) from the parking light (+) and the drl will be on bright all the time with headlights on ;however, the drl will only come on with the parking light. To get it to turn on all the time when the car is in ready mode, youll have to tap a fuse and run the (+) wire to (+) drl.

I hope this helps.

Is this a concept idea or did you do it already?

It is not a concept. I did this while I was working on the led conversion project.

Maybe we can help eachother out. I dont want my drl bright at night but i do want them on running dim.

On the led headlights, the drl has 2 wires. A yellow and a white wire. Does anyone know how to dim them when the parking lights are on?
