Default Adding maps to the navigation system

Hello
I have the CT200h 2013 in Amman, Jordan. Unfortunately the maps of my country are not loaded on the Nav. system so the system is totally useless.

I tried to call LEXUS local dealer and they told me that they don't have the maps !!

Is there a way I can add the maps myself for (jordan or the middle east) ??!

And what is the way to download the maps Via DVD or USB ?!

Many Thanks,

No. Your only option is to use your phone. I bet your phone provides better GPS than Lexus.

The Lexus system is set up that only the dealer has the hardware & software to upgrade your GPS system and if they do not offer maps for your country, there is no way to get them for the vehicle. You cannot do it yourself, it is all proprietary.

Many Thanks,
Denso makes the map system and they get map data from NAVTEQ, Tele Atlas and InfoUSA.
NAVTEQ has jordan maps, so maybe if you continually complain to lexus and navteq you can get maps for your country. Being a squeaky wheel may work.
Make posts on twitter, find their CEO emails, etc.

Do other GPS programs work in Jordan? Maybe the mapping companies dont keep the maps up to date. According to the navteq link from 2009, it says addressing in jordan is poor and people just go by landmarks when giving directions. That could also be why they dont support Jordan.
