My observations after 2 months
I must admit this is a cool car, the cabin materials are top grade. Mileage has been 44 on average, which includes both city & highway driving. I keep the drive in eco & normal most of the time. I've learned how to accelerate & just come off the pedal. More power would be nice - I miss my Audi TDI turbo but I don't miss its nasty NOx pollutants. It's interesting to note that every fill-up erases previous settings, like you're starting from 0 mpg. I agree with a previous post that the eco-mode button is useless although for some reason it comes on automatically at times. Also a mystery is why Lexus did not add a daily "miles driven" screen. Knowing my "time" driven is nice but it should stay on for 24 hours & not disappear after engine is turned off.

The MPG that resets after refill is displayed on the instrument cluster as part of the information screen that shows current MPG (bar that moves up & down from 0 - 90mpg)
You can see your overall MPG by pressing the DISP button on the steering wheel until the display shows just MPG. If you press and hold DISP, it will reset and you can start keep tracking a new "session" You can review these "sessions" on your NAV display on the Trip/Consumption information screen.
The green ECO light that pops up when you drive is there to show you when you are doing the best type of driving for gas mileage. It comes on when you're cruising/coasting, turns off when you're accelerating. You can turn this light off in Vehicle Settings, I believe if you don't like looking at it constantly coming on/off.

The session Lexus61030 refers to will be up to 9999 miles. If not reset it will become the
most recent 9999 miles as a running average. Tank Average resets itself with every fill
up so is 450-600 (!!) miles.
Call the blinking light ECO "Passive Eco". It doesn't change the car but tries to influence you.
Turning the Drive Mode **** to ECO could be called Active. You acted to twist it on and now
the car Acts differently, Throttle, cruise and A/C all use less gas.
OP comment regarding more power. The Drive Mode selection Sport changes the normal and
Eco voltage of 500v DC to 650 v, you can feel the extra torque. The red dash and Tach don't
mean much but do try the Sport setting when you are feeling racy.
