Hey,

This is my first post on the ct200h section. I posted in the sc300 area frequently years back when i owned the car. I recently modded my new ct. I had a white 2013 for a few years and did nothing to it, but recently got a 2015 black f sport...

The car is brand new pretty much, has less than 800 miles. I installed bc br coil overs. I maxed out the coilovers to the lowest setting. The front doesn't seem to be rubbing at all. I checked parked and turned the wheels all sides to check. here is the problem...

When parked, or at a slow roll... While turning the wheel the front makes a rubber sound. Similar to rubbing your hand on a balloon. Im familiar with coil overs and suspension mods and checked the fender line and see if anything else was rubbing. There was nothing making contact.

What is making that rubbing sound? Is it a bushing or something I'm missing? Can it be the steering column? I don't think it is the coil overs themselves as i never known this happening. Ive had 4 sets of different coil over on 4 different cars with no issue like this. Usually its rubbing and I can pinpoint it. The rubbing sound is distinct, but the one I'm hearing on the ct is more of a rubber sound.

It doesn't happen while driving. Even at full lock at a faster making a uturn the sound is gone. I only hear it while parked or moving slowly.
