Hi Everyone,

Sorry if this is a repost - I can't really explain the sound I'm hearing. The youtube link below is the same problem I'm facing but on my CT. Sounds like a scrolly mouse clicking noise.

Can anyone test this on their CT's and see whether this is a "normal" thing - because it seems to only happen at certain times for me (when I let the wheel go spin back when I'm turning), but when idled (like this gentlemen) it does happen but more quieter than his.

The thing is, I tend to have my music on so I never usually noticed it, until recently. And, it has a subtle vibration too..... when it's pulling back - like the video.


Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated :-)

I definitely do not have anything that sounds like that. The wheel on my 2014 F Sport makes no noticeable sounds when turning (whether I am turning it or it's returning on its own). Sounds like it's time for a dealer visit for some warranty work.

The guys at lexus pulled the steering off and although they couldn't figure it out they decided that since it happens when the indicator is on that they will replace that whole part (wiper stalk and indicator stalk I believe is one whole attachment) we tested other CTs and there were no apparent creaks, so i guess i got a dud.

Will keep yall posted, part won't be delievered till end of month so... but we got a temp fix which is a bit of lube on the catchment area that's stopped the creaking for now.

Did you ever solve the issue? I have a sound when turning the wheel as well but I'm not sure what it is.
