What do you guys get on miles per tank?
I've had my 2015 CT for a few weeks now, I just filled it up recently and noticed the gas meter on my odometer showed near close to the empty line (55 mile driving range left), but it only filled up 7.8 gallons and it was full... Last time I checked, the the new CT 200h has 11.9 gallons.
Do you guys think there's an issue with my meter? Or did that extra 4 gallons magically disappeared? lol
Thanks!

The fuel gauge on the CT is very pessimistic. It's been speculated that Lexus designed it this way a) to reduce the chances of the fuel pump overheating if owners drive with very little gas in the tank, and/or b) to reduce the chances of owners damaging the hybrid battery by running out of gas and then continuing to drive on battery power alone.
The quirkiness of the fuel gauge is something you'll have to adapt too.

Oh okay, so basically, that last 4 gallons can be used, but technically shouldn't?
Man what a tease, I was hoping on getting 400+ miles per tank, currently only getting ~330 miles.

8-10 gallon fill up sounds about right.
i'm averaging 33mpg with normal mixed driving. I was hoping for more but oh well. I have the AC on all the time, not sure if that makes a difference.

I've owned my 2014 since September 1st. Before owning it I did research on the car. And every where I looked people sweared sport mode gave the best gas. So since September 1st till 3 weeks ago that's what I did. I averaged roughly 320-340 before hitting "0 range". And drove another 60-80 miles. Easy. Now the past 3 weeks I drive on "normal" setting. And I'm doing consistently 390-420 before hitting "0 range" and the most i went over "0" was 45 miles. And still had gas. My car is stock minus after market strut bars and injen intake. Stock rims and tires.

I can get 42-46 with normal driving, but as soon as I go up this hill to my house my overall can drop to as low as 35. Just from one 2-3mile hill.

I don't even look at the range. I reset my Trip A every fill up and starts looking for a station to refill when I hit 400 miles. Usually I will need about 8.5 to 9 gal. My overall MPG is 45 measured (48 on the car computer) for the last 3 years full time running in Sport mode. I am going to hit 100,000 miles in a couple of weeks.

Your gas mileage should increase. Furthest I've gone is 421 miles on 8.91 gallons (47.3 mpg) but I have gotten higher mpg. The computer is optimistic about mpg and pessimistic about remaining fuel.
I tried hypermiling (lots of EV mode and slow speeds) and driving like a jackass with the same MPG result. I just ignore the mpg now as I know I am going to get the same no matter how I drive. I almost exclusively drive in eco mode.

I have a 2015 Ct stock as well. Same thing! light comes on at 250 miles. I fill it up and it only takes 8.5 gallons. Very annoying. I have around 4,000 miles on it averaging 36 mpg. I drive mostly in sport mode.

I keep my trip A at 0. Once mt tank hits "0" I got to trip B. And see how many miles I get. I filled up on Monday. Trip A got me 423. Trip B I gained another 45. When I filledup the tank (regular) it filled 8.9 gallons. I had 2 gallons left to go. Roughly another 60-90 miles. Insane. But I only started these kind of gas miles after my 15k check up. My 5k and 10k I wasn't nearly getting as much miles. Btw.

I got to 494.3 miles for 10.38 gallons....runs mix of eco/normal/sport.
I'm using stock, no upgrade.
the fuel gauge seems to have problems to me as well, got to about 400 gallons, and the fuel gauge is 1 knot from empty...
