Knocking noise while turning steering wheel quickly left or right
So I just noticed something on my 2011 CT that I never noticed before. While stationary if I turn my steering wheel quickly left or right I get a knocking sound in both directions. The knocking is coming from the outside of the vehicle somewhere around the front suspension area. Even while moving at very low speeds if I turn the wheel quickly in either direction I can hear or feel the knocking. When making normal turns I hear nothing, just the short quick movements in either direction that makes a knocking noise.
I also uploaded a video so you can see for yourself. Not sure if this is normal.

Youtube said the video does not exist. How many miles on your car? It may still be under warranty. The noise could be normal from hitting the end of the rack stops at full wheel lock. It appears you have no other complaints about how it steers and drives. That would appear to rule out wheel bearings, tie rod ends, ball joints etc, although it never hurts to have it inspected.

Wll after bringing to a local Toyota dealer, it was determined that both intermediate shafts are completely shot. I was quoted nearly $1600 for repair. It's going to an actual Lexus dealer on Tuesday for a 2nd opinion. The Lexus dealer said if that indeed is the issue, there is a good chance Lexus will still over it outside of my warranty as this should not happen.

I had a similar noise as well as another clicking noise while braking and turning. The clunk that i was getting was due to the struts going bad. Just had the struts replaced at 41k (under warranty) and the clunk has gone away.
I still have another clicking noise that they have yet to determine after two trips to different dealers.
