sorry forgot to include that - its a 2014

i actually might not even know what I'm talking about. Just bought the car over the weekend, very abnormal situation; basically i assumed they were HIDs, but now I feel like I'm wrong and i will just swap for LEDs

Hi,

Take a look at our 2014 Lexus CT200h Lamp Replacement Guide. According to our guide HIDs were not an option (but our guide could be wrong).

Newest 6000LM 60W/Set CREE LED Headlight Kit 9005 9006 H7 H8 H9 H11 HID 6000K

It was $69 for a set of two led bulbs. It was shipped from CA USA. Make sure it is shipped from USA.

Good luck.
these look to be the same ones you bought, except its rated at 7200LM and they're priced a bit cheaper. Think I will pull the trigger on these guys!

I guess I'll give the LED a shot as well since they are positive reviews on them...

I really want to do LEDs, but I can't stand the 6000k-look because it makes the DRLs look yellow.

Any options for me? Or should I just stick to 4300k HIDs?

IMHO, 5000k or even 5500k is perfect. 6000k will look blue.

I second this. My Osram CBIs are around 5k. Perfect match with my DRLs.

Unfortunately not, all of the LED upgrade options are in 6000K. If you're looking for 4300k-5000K then go with an HID kit. The install wouldn't be any harder and you would get better results with an HID kit anyway.

Just installed mines today

Just a small note that low beams and fogs are 5000k so to match better with the DRL your better off with 4500k

Evil Teo, I am running Sylvanias for my Lowbeam to match my LED strip which has been great. Unfortunately 1.5 years into owning the 2014, I had to change my bulbs once. What LED lights did you get for the low beam and fogs?

These are the best H11 5000k LED bulbs you're going to get for the fogs:
