Mine is starfire pearl; with fogs. The paint job is supposed to not cost beyond $150. Mine went just 8,000 km before I swapped, and its basically spot free. Alas, it has a 3M wrap on it that will have to go if repainted. Oh, I am in Canada, so perhaps beyond easy reach anyways.

For those who did the upgrade, how long did it take for the packages to arrive (from the date of ordered to the date of received)?

And also how long does it take to install the whole front bumper?

Thanks

If Sewell paints it for you, I will say they take about 3-4 days to ship. Once they ship, it depends on the distance, as they ground ship by Fedex. It took 5 days to reach me in NY. I'll hazard a guess of about 3 days for you to California, give or take a day.

It took me a couple hours. Removing packaging and placing them right was about half hour (they really package it well), trying to think of a proper location for the no holes license plate was half hour, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ct-...in-the-is.html
Trying to yank out the Lexus emblem was another half hour (this one was a bit of a PITA) http://www.ct200hforum.com/forum/lex...us-emblem.html.
As I got LED fog lamps as well, mounting the fog lamps, and transferring the wiring from the old bumper to the new one was another half hour.
Double checking so that all bolts and tabs were properly connected took another half hour.

My only suggestion given my experience would be to ask Sewell to not paint it. 1. it takes time for them to do it, 2. They couldn't match the paint for my Starfire Pearl, and I ended up getting it repainted by my local paint shop. Well, I am told Starfire Pearl has many variations and it is very difficult to match, but mine came out looking more like Ultra White rather than SP. It is much easier for your local paint guy to match it with rest f the body when they see it in person. Again just from my experience, Sewell is not really that great in responding back if you have a special request. Good luck!

Default 2014 Spindle Bumper

I went to the Sewell.com site and it says it's closed. Any idea how I can order the kit?

Did you ever get an answer or pull the trigger on upgrading the f sport grille? I'm thinking of doing the same for my 15 CT.

Rasche:

When you swap your old fog light to the new 2015 fog light , are they the same size? will it fit the new bumper without getting a new fog light? Thanks.

Headlamps are HID, purchased the kit through DDM tuning here in San Diego locally. A lot of forum members have them as well....
Do you recall whether the old & new fog lights are the same sizes?

I'm stuck at the foglights for my bumper upgrade. I've invested WAAAAAY too much time and money on this upgrade and my body guy is at a stopping point. I'm wanting to use the original foglights from my 2013 and when I initially ordered this stuff about 3 months ago, I thought that I had read where the pre-face lift foglights could be modified to work. For those who have successfully upgraded to this front-end and used the original foglights, do I need to order new brackets or is there some modifications that can be done to make them work?

See post #4 with list of material, bracket fog lamp is what you need.

Not sure how I missed that before. It really is too bad Sewell doesn't sell the complete upgrade package. Ordered from my local Lexus dealer and had them overnighted. My car should be done/back together by the weekend. I've been driving a 'beater' IS350. Best thing about it is the ventilated seats, but I sure miss getting 45+mpg! I think I'm going to start looking for a '16 F-Sport SE.
