Default F-Sport springs and winter

Anyone driving with lowering springs through winter? I just bought a CT F-Sport and ordered the springs which are on back order. I have been driving around the last couple of days and it occurred to me it might be too low in winter. I have owned a few Subaru WRX's that were low, but they had AWD so they were great even in deep snow.

I'm a little worried about this as my wife will drive the car and she's never driven a lowered car. She loves the car, just don't want to ruin it by adding the springs.

The drop is less than 1 inch, how much damage could she do?

I have added F Sports, springs, shocks and sway bars to mine. Outside of ground clearance in deeper snow ... i have now issues.

We are going to give them a try, just need to wait until they come off back order.
