Default Optional dash trim?

Does anyone have the bamboo dash trim (the small piece for the glovebox). I am thinking about adding it to my car. I recently got a 2012 CT200h premium with NAV, illuminated door sills, paint protection film and preferred accessory package. My car is starfire pearl with caramel interior, I saw a picture of this interior with the bamboo trim and thought it was a nice touch.

Default No brake dust!

I recently had an Audi and then a BMW. What I am enjoying more than I thought possible is the lack of brake dust that accumulates on the wheels of the CT. The Audi and BMW wheels were brake dust magnets compared to the CT. Nice surprise with this car!

I don't have it, but like the bamboo trim piece. Looks nice with the CT interior. Just can't bring myself to spend $150+ for one piece of wood. If you get it, post pics!

hello and welcome. yes i bought the bamboo trim piece and love it. and i have black interior. some people think it looks out of place in a dark interior but i think it adds to the whole "green" look of the car. most pictures you see the bamboo with the light tan interior, so some might think it's out of place with caramel also.

is it worth $150? that depends on you and your perception, but to me it was, just to make things a little less black in the cabin. plus it is easy to put in and take out so when my CT goes back after lease end i will be selling it.

I also have the Bamboo trim with black leather interior. It's not worth the cost. It was the final negotiation request after dealer agreed upon car price. ..

Sewell sells it for $153 with the CL discount.

I actually think the Ash Burl looks richer and I'm sorry I didn't get that one instead.

I think you may be right based about the ash based on the pictures above! The installation looks easy enough to do yourself.

I have the bamboo trim with the caramel interior. In sunlight, the caramel is lighter and matches the bamboo better than the ash burl, IMO.

Even though $150 is a bit steep for what it is, I'm glad I bought it. More than one person has sat in my passenger seat and brushed their hand over the trim piece.

Dang- Just ordered the ash burlwood! Hope it will look OK! I know a perfect match is unrealistic but hopefully it will not clash.

I also have the bamboo trim with the caramel interior and nebula gray exterior. Looks great and does match well with the two-tone interior.

It should be delivered today. Hope it works out. I went back and forth forever about which color to get.

It is too bad that they dont make nuluxe pieces to perfectlymatch the interior.

I don't think that that it is necessary to "match", more like it should compliment the interior.
