It's a great highway car. We drove 100 miles today and 60 of them on the highway at 135-140 km/h (85 mph), and finally we got 5,2 l/100km (45 mpg).

Handling is great although I would take 16" wheels because of comfort issues.

Compared to any toyota or honda the CT200h Is OK on a freeway.
The car is heavy enough to be planted and secure.
Comparec to a Lexus, it's inferior..but you know that already since it's an entry level Lexus car anyway.

At 80 miles/ hr you will hear a lot of wind noise and some engine growl.
The milage will go down, 30-35 mpg seems to be on point .
Now if you try going to drive....let say to the Grape vine you will decrease the milage as low as 25-30 mpgs.

Grapevine is always intimidating for low powered car's I've driven in. How does the CT handle the Grapevine anyway? Lot of struggling? I know electric motors have a bit more torque than normal engines...

I drove the CT200h thru the grapevine from LA to Bakersfield and back and it dropped down to 38MPG from 46-48MPG. Climbing the grapevine, just put it in sport mode and drive. It will sound crazy loud because the motor is really trying, but it's got power to make it thru. You'll get the gas mileage back on the areas where you just let go of the gas and let the car roll down the hills.

I had 4 people in the car and it was full of luggage btw. So pretty good
