Mine was also done by the salesman just after the test drive. He was pretty sure I was going to be buying, so he did it for me. Good thing I bought it... I didn't have to go back to the car and delete the contacts (which is also easy to do with the NAV menu screens).

To get around the issue of not having control of which contacts get transferred over. I will add an "a" to the contacts last name then the last name so....first name: Ed last name: A Vale

BTW: it has to been done in the phone.

I don't believe the transfer will work when you are in motion. Try it again when stationary.

3000 capacity might solve a lot of people's problems But I still think they ought to allow you to sync a category like "Car" from your outlook or apple phone book. With the proliferation of numbers, even 3000 might not be enough. Also: allow manua input of numbers. I cannot even put my wife in speed dial because she is one of the over 1000 nonuploaded numbers. Trying to solve this problem today I spent way too much time.

another idea that might work is to delte most of the addresses on my phone, ms outlook exchang and device, so when I uload to car BT just those essential "on the road" call numbers. But first make sure the deletions don't automatically sync to my desktop so that I lose the 1000 other addresses permanently. I will check with an IT guy first. Will this work???

My Contacts load/transfer successfully via Bluetooth to my IS250 2012, iPhone 5S on T-Mobile, latest iOS7.04. BUT, Caller ID does NOT work. The tel # shows on the screen during the calls, In or Out, but NOT the Name. Only the number is displayed.

Also, the Lexus of Palm Beach Florida Tech people were very polite, they had no solution.
