I have never EVER purchased any pre-paid maintenance plan nor extended warranty coverages. I have owned over the years: rx300, rx330, mb 190d, bmw 328t, peugeot 504d, bmw 328i convertible and now ct200H. I do my own oil & filter/air filter changes, wheel rotation and other minor stuff. For anything major, I use independent shops that specializes in foreign cars. I own my car for about 7-8 years and I put about 15K-25K miles.And I have not encountered any major mechanical issues all these hear. I agree with those that do not patronize these so-called maintenance plans, to me they are worthless.
