I just got the intake installed last week with Matt's help ("help" is too much, I just kinda watched from afar). Big thanks to Matt for paving the way with awesome mods and helping me big time. The intake is pretty awesome. The struggling sound when you push the car on freeway on-ramps and from stop light is reduced severely. Instead, you get a deeper, throaty sound that is really cool.
I was worried that the hybrid quietness would go away, but as Matt says, the intake sound is only there when the gas engine is used. I can still sneak up to the red light or around parking lots. I do hear the engine noise a little more, even when accelerating slowly, but the sound is nice.
I will definitely update on MPG. I dont drive too aggressively and I'm getting around 45 MPG (60% freeway, 40% local) prior to the intake.

dude, its great to see another ct driver with the intake. I'm fairly new at this, is WOT - wide open throttle? Do you notice that when you accelerate slowly, you still hear the ct whine and its only when you push the car/accelerate fast, that you hear the deep note? or is it just me.

I just finished my first tank with the Intake and got about the same as without (45 mpg with 60% freeway, 40% local). I average about 70-73 mpg on highways and 40-42 on local. This was with me testing out the sound, new pep of the car and pushing it the first 100 miles or so. I will update on my second tank with more "normal" driving.

My average goes to hell on the highway (~35mpg)
And it is good on local roads (~50mpg)

just got this installed and on my 2nd tank..ive noticed an increase on mpg 2-3 based on driving habits..however knowing its installed and the sound is awesome at WOT heh...my mpgs definitely affected..its also winter time so mpg readings are low due to me using remote start and defrosters...ill have more accurate readings as temps heat up and spring time comes
