Awesome! Thanks for posting pics in your first post as well

My DD is a 335i... I've been eying the CT for awhile now but keep waiting for Lexus to announce the CT300h. The lack of power is a bit disturbing for me... but if nothing happens soon I may just deal with it and pick up a CT200

I was worried about the power also initially but once you see the 47 mpg while going to work. Nothing else matters really. The sound system is by far the best I've had in any car stock. The ride is better than the r32 I used to have, it's so nice for long distance and short dist driving. I've been playing in ev mode the whole week in te city and getting used to it where I can go almost 2 miles within my small city just on the battery. Key to that is the kinetic energy of sorts and keeping the car in motion without needing to press on the gas much, alot of coasting almost like a game, how far I can go on a charge etc.

Sport mode is damn fun. Grand tourismo fun.

Congrats, looking sharp! Was your bimmer the coupe or the sedan? I LOVE those 335i coupes...was going to be my next car (current car) until the CT came into the world!

By the way, I think you can get the same benefits of EV mode while in ECO or NORMAL mode so as long as you don't go above the 1/2 way mark on the ECO meter on the left. The gas engine doesn't kick in until you go above the 1/2 way mark.

Does the car charge/regenerative brake while you're in pure EV mode using the button?

Had the sedan. The car does regen while in ev mode while slowing down or by braking which can squeeze out more distance of the ev mode.

Very Nice!

I pick up my Starfire SE on Monday! Looking forward to it. But this will be the daily driver replacing my RX. My 335 vert will remain the garage queen...
I hope the CT is as reliable as the RX has been.

Nice.
I have a question:
1. Do you have the "Vehicle Proximity Notification System" (sound while in moving forward without the ICE running).
2. Is there an "on/off" switch?
3. If you "do" have it, can you post a video of the sound that it makes both as it drives by and from the inside of the cabin?

Thank you!

They IMHO will add the 300h using the Camry's new hybrid setup. More power still excellent gas mileage. Of course its based on logic. 2.4 liter producing 200hp ......looks like they made some break through's it gets 40/38mpg which might go up some in the lighter CT.

Crazy! My 09 335i coupe might get lemon lawed after almost 2.5 years I was totally thinking of going back to Japanese, specifically the CT200!! Yours is beautiful, I had a white 335i coupe, might be the way to go. What options did you get? did you get the upgraded sound?
